Workshop on the footsteps of the Goddess in Sardinia

Questo workshop è pensato come un’introduzione ad alcuni dei numerosi e interessanti luoghi di interesse culturale attraverso il quale potremo conoscere alcuni Volti della Dea in Sardegna e sperimentare il modo di onorare le direzioni, gli elementi e gli Archetipi della Ruota dell’Anno, espressione della spiritualità indigena delle nostre antenate ed antenati, alla riscoperta delle importanti radici culturali e storiche dell’Isola Sacra. Rispettando i luoghi, cammineremo, mediteremo, celebreremo, condivideremo, trascorreremo e vivremo il tempo della bussola interiore ed esteriore della Dea Madre della Natura.

Questo workshop si presenta come un’umile proposta, una semplice introduzione ed avvicinamento ad alcuni luoghi, archetipi e tematiche nell’ottica della valorizzazione delle immense risorse di cultura, storia, spiritualità indigena, saperi della meravigliosa Sardegna. Questo non è, né vuole essere un percorso archeologico tradizionale o turistico, ma è un workshop, un seminario esperienziale dedicato alle persone associate.

Questa proposta nasce dalla ricerche e dalle esperienze condivise negli ultimi dieci anni in Sardegna dai gruppi di donne e di uomini che hanno percorso e percorrono i Sentieri della Dea e hanno collaborato con Il Tempio della Dea di Torino e di Sardegna che onoriamo e ringraziamo di cuore. Restiamo costantemente disponibili per collaborazioni e condivisioni.
Il workshop verrà ripetuto annualmente.

ENG: This workshop is conceived and felt as an introduction to some of the numerous and very interesting Sardinian and proto-Italian sacred places. In this experience we will be able to know the Faces of the Goddess in Sardinia and discover the way to honoring the directions, the elements and the Archetypes of the Wheel of the Year, expression of the indigenous spirituality of the Sacred Island and of our ancestors. We will rediscover the important cultural and historical roots of this land, we will walk, meditate, celebrate, share, spend and live the time of the Wheel of the Mother Goddess of Nature.
This workshop is presented as a simple introduction and approach to some places and themes and is far from explain the immense resources of culture, history, indigenous spirituality, knowledge of the amazing land of Sardinia.
This proposal starts from the research and experiences shared in the last ten years in Sardinia by groups of women and men who have traveled and walk the Paths of the Goddess and have collaborated with the Temple of the Goddess of Turin and Sardinia, who we honor and thank from the heart. We are constantly available for collaborations and sharing.

Il workshop è studiato come un’esperienza congruente con un inizio, uno svolgimento e una fine, non è quindi possibile partecipare ad una sola giornata, in quanto l’esperienza è significativa nel suo insieme e inoltre prevede degli approfondimenti che seguono un iter e un senso specifico.

ENG: The workshop is designed as a congruent Experience with a beginning, a development and an end, it is therefore not possible to participate in a single day, as the experience is significant as a whole and also includes in-depth studies and practices that follow a process and a specific sense.

    1. Honoring Jana the Crone – Direction on the Wheel North-west Places: Su Crucifissu Mannu. Anghelu Ruju:
      • The necropolis of su Crucifissu Mannu, a complex of domus de Janas dug out of a bank of limestone rock. 22 tombs have been found so far. Their construction began in the Late Neolithic period (3200-2800 BC) and were used continuously until the Early Bronze Age, around the 16thcentury BC.
      • Anghelu Ruju site houses one of the largest prehistoric cemeteries in Sardinia in terms of the number of tombs found up till now. Nearly 40 artificial caves (the famous domus de janas) carved in a rocky ledge of soft sandstone used by different cultures starting in the Late Neolithic and going on until the first Bronze Age. A first-rate archaeological site, which is mysterious and fascinating, takes visitors to a place where the respect for the cult of the dead blends with the respect for nature that these peoples had and which still comes across unchanged even today.

    1. Honoring Jana of the Air – Direction North
      – Places: Monte d’Accoddi.
      – Monte d’Accoddi is a Neolithic archaeological site in northern Sardinia, located in the territory of Sassari. The site consists of a massive raised stone platform thought to have been an altar. It was constructed by the Ozieri culture or earlier, with the oldest parts dated to around 4,000–3,650 BC.

    2. Honoring Jana the Maiden / Direction North-east
      – Places: Tamuli. San Leonardo Siete Fuentes.

      • The archaeological area of Tamuli, in central- north Sardinia in the Marghine region, is one of the most impressive Nuragic settlements in the island. It consists of three giants graves, a nuraghe and a village, and six female-goddess figures built with erected stones, with breasts, dating from the Middle and Late Bronze Age (16th-13th century BC).
      • The village of San Leonardo Siete Fuentes is surrounded by a dense woods of oak and cork trees on the south-eastern slopes of Montiferru, at some 700 m above sea level, where you can go for nice walks in a pleasant, shaded woods dotted with small pools and streams that come from the springs, graced with light and healthy water from deep within the

    3. Honoring Jana of Fire – Direction East
      – Places: Tula. Valledoria thermal baths.

      • Tula is an ancient and characteristic Logudorese village in central-northern Sardinia, Tula offers views of Lake Coghinas, a charming historical town centre and ancient places of worship like the archeological site of Sa Mandra Manna of the megalithic age.
      • Valledoria is located in the lower Coghinas valley in the center of the AsinaraGulf with a termal bath and sacred river immersed in an amazing nature.

    1. Honoring Jana the Lover – Direction South-east
      – Places: S. Stefano Rock Altar, Oschiri.
      – The rock altar of Santo Stefano, located in the territory of Oschiri, is located within a very large area characterized by an underground necropolis in which there are numerous Domus de Janas, about 8, dating back to the recent Neolithic, precisely Culture of Ozieri (3500-2700); there are also the remains of a nuraghe, but the conformation of the surrounding rocks is very particular and the whole area is imbued with strong sacredness.

    2. Honoring Jana of the Water – Direction South
      – Places: Well of S.Cristina, Paulilatino.
      It is a sacred monument datable to the 25th century BC, belonging to the typology of sacred wells. The structure is placed inside a nuragic site that extends for about one hectare, located in the surroundings of Paulilatino.

    3. Honoring Jana the Mother – Direction South-west
      – Places: S.Andrea Priu, Bonorva. Group lunch in a typical sardinian country restaurant.
      The necropolis of Sant’Andrea Priu is an archaeological site located on the south side of the fertile plain of Saint Lucia, in the municipality of Bonorva. The complex, one of the most important of the island, is composed of twenty domus de janas; one of them with its eighteen rooms appears to be one of the largest hypogean tombs of the Mediterranean area.

    4. Honoring Jana the Queen of the Earth – Direction West
      – Places: Palmavera Nuragic Village
      – In a bay the Romans called “Port of the Nymphs”, located at the foot of the homonymous mount, the Palmavera complex consists of two towers, constructed with large blocks of limestone and sandstone, placed at the centre of a pentagonal-shaped surrounding wall that encloses three tower-huts and the majestic Meetings Hut.

    5. Honoring the Center of the Wheel: Sacred Fire and Gift of Jana’s Flame

Sonia Desiderio: Nata a Torino nel 1979, da madre sarda e padre siciliano, vive in Sardegna dall’età di 5 anni e lavora a Sassari. Infermiera Specializzata in Cure palliative terapia del dolore e nell’assistenza al malato cronico e terminale ha trovato in questo contesto l’esigenza di approfondire il significato di approccio olistico alla persona, per poi addentrarsi in una dimensione spirituale rivolta alla ricerca ed alla comprensione del più profondo Sé nello studio e nella ricostruzione delle vie iniziatiche femminili.
Formata presso l’Aps Tempio della Dea di Torino, il Goddess Temple di Glastonbury e la Path of Love Mystery School. Cofondatrice del Tempio della Dea Sardegna nel 2016 e Cofacilitatrice del Percorso “Vivere la Ruota della Dea Jana” con Sarah Perini.
Master Reiki accreditata presso la Federazione Spagnola Reiki; Advanced Moon Mother;  facilitatrice di Mindfulness presso IEPP. Vive e lavora a Sassari come Donna, Madre, Artista ed Illustratrice, Sacerdotessa formatrice e Cerimonialista
Ricercatrice indipendente, fondatrice e Presidentessa dell’APS Tempio di Atlantide della Grande Dea del Mediterraneo Stella Maris e del Percorso triennale di studi: “Sacerdotesse Atlantidee – La Ruota della Regina Manifestare il proprio mito Divino”.

La Libreria Il Manoscritto di Alghero di Daria Martinez: è attiva dal 2006, è specializzata in  spiritualità, benessere, sciamanesimo e tradizioni popolari in Sardegna. Sarah Perini: Laureata nel 2003 in Lingue e Letterature Straniere all’Università di Torino, con Indirizzo Storico Culturale, dal 1998 ha partecipato a master e seminari di argomento antropologico al Centro Interdipartimentale di Studi per le Donne dell’Università di Torino con Anna Brawer e Luciana Percovich, approfondendo gli studi di genere e il lavoro di Maria Gimbutas e Riane Eisler. Diplomata come Counselor in Psicosintesi nel Corso Triennale all’Istituto Internazionale di Psicosintesi Educativa di Torino. Attualmente in ulteriore formazione alla Facoltà di Filosofia e Scienze e Tecniche Psicologiche dell’Università di Perugia. Accompagnatrice turistica professionale registrata dal 2023. Dal 2005 ha completato la sua formazione attraverso il contatto e l’apprendimento con i percorsi e le pratiche proposte da ricercatrici nel campo del Sacro Femminile in Italia e all’estero. Ha seguito il triennio formativo di Studi sulla spiritualità celtica al Glastonbury Goddess Temple. Ha collaborato dal 2006 con Morena Luciani e l’Associazione Laima nella creazione e organizzazione dei Convegni Culture Indigene di Pace e del Convegno Vent’anni di Studi su Maria Gimbutas. Dal 2005 al 2011 ha lavorato come Editor e Consulente Editoriale per la Casa Editrice Psiche 2, seguendo dei progetti in collaborazione anche con la Casa Editrice Venexia. Dal 2012 ad oggi è consulente editoriale per la Casa Editrice Ester e per la Casa Editrice La Cicala. Curatrice di traduzioni e pubblicazioni sul Sacro Femminile. Dal 2015, Presidentessa dell’Associazione e Centro Ricerche per la Partnership Il Tempio della Dea. Tiene e coordina seminari, conferenze, workshop. Ricercatrice indipendente, autrice, editor, counselor. Da vent’anni lavora nel campo della spiritualità e nell’editoria di settore. È autrice dei libri: “Simboli e Riti delle Donne Celtiche. Regine e Dee al Tempo di Artù”, disponibile anche in lingua inglese; di: “Chiedi alla Terra. L’Arte della Divinazione Geomantica”; di: “Il Simbolismo Magico del Caffè. La caffeomanzia, il rituale divinatorio e la ricerca dei simboli come esperienza conoscitiva” e di “I riflessi della Dea”.

  • the seminar is dedicated to the people that are associated to the APS Tempio di Atlantide and have the annual association card.
  • It is necessary to have/rent a car (3 cars are required – 5 people in each car). We will move from one archaeological site to another by car and walk inside to reach the various places
  • Group starting point: Social Promotion Association Temple of Atlantis of the Great Goddess of the Mediterranean Stella Maris, Porto Ferro locality (SP Porto Ferro Provincial Road, corner via Pattada)
  • Meeting point: at h. 9.00 of each day of the tour at the Association Headquarters. Visit to the places in the morning / early afternoon. Ceremonies / Meditations at the Association Headquarters in the afternoon.
  • hours: 9.00 a.m. – 7.00 p.m. of every day ot the seminar
  • Flights/ferryboat are NOT included in the participation fee
    Tickets for the archeological sites where necessary, are NOT included in the participation fee
